Premio Nacional de Educación Francisca Radke.Ítem Ciberciudadanías, cultura política y creatividad social.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013)Although the new technological repertoires are currently one of the predominant forms of control and production, they are also devices with the potential for expansion of subjectivity and desire, taking the floor, and the exercise of citizenship. Their inclusion in social practices shapes new forms of life and transforms culture. In this sense, this book presents different analytical perspectives that reevaluate conceptualizations, such as the private sphere, the diverse public spheres, local to global, mass media, and multi-modal technologies. The authors focus mostly on young men and women as vital social actors in contemporary society and in politics, not as a previously defined field, but as a product of conflicts, tensions, and resistance.Ítem Construcción de fenomenologías y procesos de formalización : un sentido para la enseñanza de las ciencias.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Malagón Sánchez, José Francisco; Ayala Marnrique, María Mercedes; Sandoval Osorio, Sandra; Malagón Sánchez, José Francisco; Ayala Marnrique, María Mercedes; Sandoval Osorio, Sandra; Romero Chacón, Ángel Enrique; García Arteaga, Edwin Germán; Marín Quintero, Miyerdady; Flórez Rojano, Iván Darío; Gómez Estrella, Ana Lilia; Ramírez Acosta, María Helena; Barragán Orjuela, Yessica VivianaThis book presents the status of the authors discussion about the relationship between the construction of phenomenologies and the processes of formalization from the field of science teaching. In the pedagogical context, the particular question that requires answering is on the type of analysis of the experimental activity and on the processes of formalization that must be initiated in order to provide elements to guide the complex cognitive processes involved in the teaching of science. It is thus stated that the pedagogical intention that guides us favors contexts of construction or production of knowledge. Therefore, it is seen that understanding phenomenology has to do with determining a quality or a set of qualities that enable the study and organization of the phenomenon, in this sense, it is stated that they are qualities that make it possible to speak of the phenomenon. Understanding the phenomenon is then linked to the elaboration of the relationships that can be established between these qualities by analyzing the effects and behaviors produced.Ítem Educar el nuevo príncipe : ¿asunto racial o de ciudadanía?.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Herrera Cortés, Martha CeciliaSchools and the creation of national systems of education of the twentieth century were favored as strategies to educate citizens, understood as the new prince, a modern individual distanced from the traditional educational methods imposed by the family and the Church. This book aims to elucidate some aspects of the national imaginaries in the first half of the 20th century and their expressions in the field of education, as well as their impact on the constitution of some contemporary subjectivities. Thus, the author questions and contrasts the different social representations spread by intellectuals from modern elite groups, the legitimation of reason, the idea of race, and the disenchanted world and modern societies, which are the inherent foundation of nation-states.Ítem Actividades matemáticaspara el desarrollo de procesos lógicos. Representar estructurasalgebraicas finitas y enumerables.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Luque Arias, Carlos Julio; Jiménez Tafur, Haydee; Ángel Bautista, José LeonardoThis publication emerges with the purpose of determining which elementary mathematical activities favor the abstraction of algebraic structures and the mathematical process of representing them. Specifically, the authors attempt to identify the shortcomings revealed in the management of notions, properties and procedures related to the concept of structure, emphasizing on the mathematical activity of representing, that is, symbolizing, coding, decoding, visualizing and modeling. The authors of this important and practical work designed a set of seven activities, aiming to show academic environments of creative and pedagogical math work and to study and compare proposals known in other scenarios.Ítem Educación y comunicación. Del capitalismo informacional al capitalismo cultural.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Narváez Montoya, AncizarFrom a perspective that aims to articulate and bring together the cultural studies approach and the approach of political economy of culture, this work proposes that culture, in general, has a generative character about logic, ethics, politics and aesthetics, meaning that all these spheres of life are part and a product of culture. In this vein, alphabetical culture, as a particularity of the Western world, is the basis of the so-called Western tradition and, therefore, the source of phenomena such as capitalism, modernity (secularization), and modernization (industrialization and computerization).Ítem Discurso ético y ambiental sobre cuestiones sociocientíficas : aportes para la formación del profesorado.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Martínez Pérez, Leonardo Fabio; Parga Lozano, Diana LinethThis research book presents a theoretical framework and a particular analysis on the following questions: What discourses mobilize in-service and pre-service science teachers when designing didactic units focused on socio-scientific issues? How do those discourses contribute to the training of science teachers? Configuraciones de la subjetividad en ecologías violentas.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Herrera, Martha Cecilia; Ortega Valencia, Piedad; Cristancho, José Gabriel; Olaya Gualteros, VladimirThe product of a group and interdisciplinary research and of a continuous process of accumulation of knowledge, the book Memoria y formación: configuraciones de la subjetividad en ecologías violentas is, in itself, part of this new trend of studies on violence in our country, it is inspired by it, it reinterprets the theoretical and methodological progress achieved in the historical, sociological, political and psychological understanding of the Colombian armed conflict, and it establishes areas around which its contribution is novel: the consolidation of the memory of armed conflict as a cultural field, the relationships between artistic work, subjectivity, education and memory, the subjectivation and ethical-political shaping that emerges in the memory of teachers and young people, the teaching of recent history about political violence, and the participation of critical pedagogy in the configuration of a pedagogy of memory in contexts of political violence.Ítem Crianza y discapacidad : una visión desde las vivencias y relatos de las familias en varios lugares de Colombia.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013)This book discusses the question of the circumstances in which raising dynamics are developed in the family contexts of people with disabilities. In a joint work between Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and Fundación Universitaria Monserrate, the authors of this book prioritize an interpretative study with an ethnographic approach to address the main typologies, intra-family relations, functions and upbringing methods by families of people with disabilities, using specific scenarios registered in Antioquia, Bolívar, Cundinamarca and Santander. The authors adhere to this purpose, encouraging physical educators to consider their profession based on a background check and the evolution of the physical education of human beings throughout the past decades. They also propose a semantic analysis of the social representations of the physical educator s profession and their competences in daily practice, as well as emphasize the daily experience of teachers.Ítem Ser madre, joven y mujer : de la escuela y la adolescente embarazada.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Roa García, Paola Andrea; Osorio González, Angélica del Pilar; Riveros Gaona, Olga Lucía; Vallejo Rodríguez, Sonia; Pérez Medina, Sandra Milena; Romero Brito, Ivonne RocíoSocial representations surrounding teen pregnancy and adolescence have made it possible to configure a knowledge from which to analyze new perspectives that the education and research sector, as well as some social groups, are concerned about. Therefore, this book is a necessary and introductory tool to understand teen pregnancy in schools as a phenomenon and object of study that, for the first time, takes into account the relationships with educational institutions, bibliographic search and theoretical-analytical elaborations as a set of methodological tools capable of addressing and broadening the discussion.Ítem Experiencias de educación indígena en Colombia : entre prácticas pedagógicas y políticas para la educación de grupos étnicos.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Guido Guevara, Sandra Patricia; García Ríos, Diana Patricia; Lara Guzmán, Gabriel; Jutinico Fernández, María del Socorro; Benavides Cortés, Angie Linda; Delgadillo Cely, Ingrid; Sandoval Guzmán, Betty; Bonilla García, Holman; Guido Guevara, Sandra PatriciaEste libro presenta un análisis de las políticas educativas para y con grupos étnicos en Colombia, especialmente la educación de pueblos indígenas. Contar e inducir.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Luque Arias, Carlos Julio; Mora Mendieta, Lyda Constanza; Páez Ortegón, Jorge ÉdgarThe authors of this book seek the creative appropriation of the mathematical knowledge of the students, aiming to elevate their education. Therefore, the book proposes, from the very first chapter, the basic study of the symbols and rules of the number system and its operations, it also delves into the superior arithmetic operations with the respective properties and applications to cases in which an exercise knowledge of the students is required in order to propose solutions. Finally, the book analyzes the aspects that enable working with the method of mathematical induction, the different types or classifications of numbers and the use of tables and drawings to support and address daily cases in the classroom with respect to this method.Ítem Imperio vs. Multitud. Such a methodological approach is described through the type of tasks given to students, the supporting technological resources to perform those tasks, and the type of interaction between teachers and students or among students that supports the construction of knowledge in the classroom. More specifically, the crystallization is reflected in the presentation of the 46 open problems proposed, the solution of which leads to a sufficiently rich mathematical discussion to build the elements that will form the theoretical system that is being consolidated throughout the course on Flat Geometry from the academic program offered by Universidad Pedagógica Nacional for the initial training of math teachers.Ítem Actividades matemáticas para el desarrollo de procesos lógicos : razonar.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013)The purpose of this book is to study mathematical reasoning other than deductive reasoning, such as inductive and abductive reasoning, proposing activities that promote their development in math students from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional who have studied the academic areas of Arithmetic, Numerical Systems and Construction of Algebraic Structures. The authors believe that mathematical activity is possible at an elementary level in the students, understood as the activity developed by mathematicians in their daily work of creating and demonstrating theorems, proposing and solving problems. This is not a book about logic, it s about learning it. It provides tasks, some of which are left unfinished with the hope that some reader will delve further into them.Ítem Currículo y evaluación críticos : pedagogía para la autonomía y la democracia.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Niño, Libria Stella; Tamayo Valencia, Alfonso; Díaz Ballén, José Emilio; Gama Bermúdez, Antonio; Saavedra Rey, Liliana; Saavedra Rey, Sneider; Soler Medina, Gladis; García Carrillo, Luz StellaAutonomy and democracy are a constituent part of educational environments in schools. However, through technical curriculum and assessment, their implementation is distorted by external social, political and economic factors linked to neoliberal approaches, which restrict the possibilities of development, self-regulation and the meanings of participation, equality and firm commitment in joint decision-making at schools. This work is a step forward in the consolidation of the intellectual field of the research on the policies, assessment, and curriculum elaborated by Grupo Evaluándonos: Pedagogía Crítica, Docencia y Evaluación over 11 years of academic exercise.Ítem Aportes investigativos para el diseño curricular en geometría y estadística.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Perry, Patricia; Samper, Carmen; Molina, Óscar; Camargo, Leonor; Echeverry, ArmandoThis book is written for people who are interested in Mathematics Education, teachers, and PhD and master's degree students. It is intended to help fill in a gap in reference bibliography to guide research processes in the Spanish-speaking educational community. For this purpose, the book presents two researches: one was conducted by the Aprendizaje y Enseñanza de la Geometría group, and the other one by the Educación Estadística group of Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (Bogotá, Colombia) in 2010 and 2011, with the support of the Research Center, CIUP. Both teams focused their research on the initial training of teachers, with the conviction that, by recognizing that geometry and probability are fragile in school mathematics, it is necessary to influence the mathematical education of future teachers in order to strengthen these domains in the future.
