dc.description.abstractLos programas de inmersión en Colombia generan diferentes preguntas frente a su valor en el campo educativo, a su presencia en las aulas y, en este caso, sobre cómo se inserta en la vida de los docentes de inglés y modifica sus creencias sobre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Este documento muestra de qué modo las inmersiones contribuyen en la transformación de las creencias de los docentes, pero también, se evidencia un proceso crítico frente al valor de estas inmersiones en el campo educativo y sus problemas estructurales.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishImmersion programs in Colombia generate different questions regarding their value in the educational field, their presence in the classroom and, in this case, how they are inserted in the lives of English teachers and modify their beliefs about teaching and learning. This paper shows how immersions contribute to the transformation of teachers' beliefs, but it also shows a critical process regarding the value of these immersions in the educational field and its structural problems.eng
