| spa |

The study arises from the limited scientific evidence regarding the application of this method in the context of para-swimming. Through a pre-experimental pretest-posttest design, individual changes in swimming pace and performance were analyzed following an intervention based on the principles of USRPT and adapted to the characteristics of each athlete. Variables related to performance in 100-meter events, race pace, swimming pace stability, and successful repetitions at race pace were evaluated. The results showed a reduction in race times and greater pace stability in the posttest for both participants. Due to the sample size, the results were interpreted individually, without making population-level generalizations. The study constitutes an initial reference for exploring alternative training methodologies applicable to para-swimming. | eng |
