dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de grado aborda la relación entre ChatGPT y la educación matemática. Por medio de una revisión documental se identifican los usos y riesgos que reporta la literatura ante la inclusión de esta IA, las matemáticas que se proponen estudiar a través de ella y algunas predicciones de los investigadores. Con esta información se concluyen las potencialidades y limitaciones que surgen de esta inclusión en la enseñanza o aprendizaje de algunos objetos matemáticos. A partir de estas conclusiones, se reporta una experiencia piloto con ChatGPT en la que se usa la herramienta para apoyar la planeación de una clase sobre operaciones con números enteros y se analizan sus respuestas a través de los referentes curriculares de Colombia y algunos artículos que abordan la enseñanza y aprendizaje de este objeto. Los resultados revelan que es posible alinear las respuestas de ChatGPT con las recomendaciones de los referentes de Colombia y usarlo para mejorar la planeación de las clases de matemáticas, sin embargo, es necesario que el docente use su pericia para usar, revisar y modificar sus producciones.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis thesis examines the relationship between ChatGPT and mathematics education. Through a literature review, the study identifies the uses and risks associated with the inclusion of this AI, the mathematical topics proposed for study via the tool, and predictions made by researchers. Based on this information, the study outlines the potential and limitations arising from integrating this technology into the teaching and learning of specific mathematical concepts. Subsequently, a pilot experience involving ChatGPT is reported, in which the tool was used to assist in planning a lesson on operations with integers; the tool's responses were analyzed against Colombian curricular standards and relevant literature on the teaching and learning of this topic. The results demonstrate that it is possible to align ChatGPT's responses with Colombian curricular recommendations and to use the tool to improve mathematics lesson planning; however, the teacher must exercise professional expertise to utilize, review, and modify the AI's output.eng
