| dc.description.abstract | La evidencia científica ha demostrado la importancia de la actividad física como una estrategia efec-tiva para disminuir el riesgo y la recidiva del cáncer de mama. Sin embargo, hasta el momento no se conocen con precisión los mecanismos de acción biológicos del ejercicio sobre el cáncer de mama. El propósito de este artículo es realizar una revisión sistemática exhaustiva de la literatura e identificar las posibles hipótesis que se plantean de los mecanismos de acción biológicos del ejercicio sobre el cáncer de mama. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura publicada desde 1990 hasta 2011 sobre los efectos del ejercicio en el cáncer de mama. | spa |

However, the exact biological mechanisms of action of physical exercise on breast cancer are not known yet. The purpose of this paper is to carry out an exhaustive systematic review of the literature associated to this topic, and identify the possible hypothesis proposed to the mechanisms of biological action of physical exercise on breast cancer.
