dc.description.abstractThis study describes the current landscape of research production, policy development, and pedagogical practices regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence on EFL teaching and learning in Colombia. Adopting a qualitative approach, documentary research design, twenty-two sources were analyzed-including undergraduate thesis, master’s research, journal articles, and national policy documents from 2009 to 2025. The analysis and findings were organized around four categories: AI as a pedagogical tool, ethical and responsible use of AI, limitations and challenges in AI integration, and educational policy and institutional support.spa
