| dc.description.abstract | Introducción: Los deportes de habilidad abierta exigen respuestas rápidas en entornos impredecibles. En baloncesto, la atención selectiva es indispensable para procesar información relevante. Objetivo: Determinar el efecto de un protocolo cognitivo-motor (CMT) sobre la atención selectiva y la agilidad en jugadoras juveniles de baloncesto. Metodología: Se empleó un diseño cuantitativo cuasi-experimental con 18 jugadoras (11–15 años), divididas en grupo experimental (n = 9) y control (n = 9). El grupo experimental realizó cinco semanas de entrenamiento CMT mediante BlazePod; el grupo control mantuvo su práctica habitual. La atención selectiva se midió con el test d2-R y la agilidad con la prueba T, antes y después de la intervención. Resultados: El grupo experimental mostró mejoras significativas en atención selectiva y agilidad. Se observaron aumentos en concentración (p = 0,002; ges = 0,112), velocidad de trabajo (p = 0,005; ges = 0,112) y precisión (p = 0,05; ges = 0,155). Además, presentó una reducción significativa en el tiempo de la prueba de agilidad reactiva con balón frente al grupo control (p = 0,004; ges = 0,211) y respecto al protocolo CMT (p = 0,004; ges = 0,78). Discusión: Los resultados coinciden con estudios que indican que las tareas de alta demanda cognitiva mejoran la atención y la agilidad en baloncesto. Además, refuerzan la evidencia de la relación entre atención y agilidad en el deporte juvenil. Conclusiones: Este estudio demuestra que los protocolos CMT que incorporan tecnología como BlazePod optimizan la atención selectiva y la agilidad reactiva en jugadoras de baloncesto. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Introduction: Open-skill sports require quick responses in unpredictable environments. In basketball, selective attention is essential for processing relevant information. Objective: To determine the effect of a cognitive-motor training (CMT) protocol on selective attention and agility in young female basketball players. Methodology: A quasi-experimental quantitative design was used with 18 players (aged 11–15), divided into an experimental group (n = 9) and a control group (n = 9). The experimental group underwent five weeks of CMT training using BlazePod; the control group maintained their usual practice. Selective attention was measured with the d2-R test and agility with the T test, before and after the intervention. Results: The experimental group showed significant improvements in selective attention and agility. Increases were observed in concentration (p = 0.002; ges = 0.112), work speed (p = 0.005; ges = 0.112), and accuracy (p = 0.05; ges = 0.155). In addition, there was a significant reduction in the reactive agility test time with the ball compared to the control group (p = 0.004; ges = 0.211) and compared to the CMT protocol (p = 0.004; ges = 0.78). Discussion: The results are consistent with studies indicating that cognitively demanding tasks improve attention and agility in basketball. They also reinforce the evidence of the relationship between attention and agility in youth sports.
