(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2022-01-01) Fabrizio Pineda, Adryan
This paper presents a reflection on the artistic estrangement of the common use object in the light of four artworks by the Colombian artist Oscar Muñoz. The interest lies in the meaning alteration of the common use object and its automatic experience in the artwork. Consequently, it lies in the generation of an estrangement sense on the work, the experience, and life itself. Hence, based on what Victor Shklovski and Bertolt Brecht proposed about estrangement, three levels of estrangement are suggested that can elucidate the place of the object of use in the poetics of works of art, in the characteristics of its expe-rience, and its relationship with its cultural context.

Business models can reveal the logic behind some industries. For the music industry, this scenario has been going through a high degree of transformation; however, it is little addressed in the management field. We seek to answer the question: how do management activities shape the musician’s business model? The research is qualitative with a multiple case study design. This study’s results made it possible to identify how the self-ma-naged system shaped the business model of the cases studied. It was concluded that this model is affected by the industry and, at the same time, models it. Determining an optimal business model will only depend on testing in the market. It was evidenced that the owners of these businesses need comprehensive training that favors managerial decision-making in a highly competitive environment. Changes in particular business models and educational offerings in the sector can be derived from this study

(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2022-01-01) Restrepo Acevedo, Isabel Cristina; Correa Rodríguez, Liliana Patricia; Serna Gallego, Daniela; Salcedo, Ana Marta; Puentes Trespalacios, Julio; González Hernández, Joan Stiven
This investigation article brings together the research Avatares, led by the Grupo Hipertrópico: Convergencia entre Arte y Tecnología, and with the support of the Area de Investigación y Propuestas (AIP) of the Departamento de Artes Visuales of the Facultad de Artes de la Universidad de Antioquia (Medellín, Colombia). The objective is to develop a pedagogical strategy that integrates conceptual, artistic, didactic, and methodological considerations towards the implementation of a virtual platform to support face-to-face teaching; as well as the construction and dissemination of knowledge in the research-creation processes of the Talleres de Integrado y Grado of the aip. For this, actions aimed at the conceptual and normative diagnosis were implemented, the design of pedagogical and didactic components, and the generation of processes of awareness, socialization, documentation, and archiving, were implemented through the action-participatory research methodology. The results are condensed in the Avatars pedagogical strategydocument, as a proposal to update the central concepts of the area and the evaluation processes, based on the concept of formative evaluation, to guarantee the communication and participation of the academic community. The architecture and contents of the first stage of the aic Platform were also designed, and a pilot and open access repository was created using the Graph Commons platform, with relevant references to the artistic field. In conclusion, the research suggests continuous reflection on new methodologies for teaching and learning of the plastic arts, mediated by ict; in which the formative evaluation constitutes a methodological element that enhances the research-creation processes.

Hoffmann.
(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2021-07-01) Garnica, Naím
This review article attempts to address the relationship between the natural, the machine, and the human in German Romanticism through the notion of body. Due to the extension of this European cultural movement, we will shorten our study to two episodes. The first episode corresponds to Early German Romanticism or Frühromantik. The second one is situated in the romantic period called Spätromantik, particularly, in the fantastic literature of E.T.A. Hoffmann. In current philosophy and literature, there are helpful elements to think about the triple relationship indicated above. The hypothesis of the work tries to show how at the heart of German Romanticism some considerations criticize the possibility of the onto-logical division between body and soul or res cogitans and res extensa presented by Descartes. For this reason, we recons-truct the assumptions that romantics think about nature in the framework of their challenge to the rationalistic natural sciences and their considerations on the mechanism of the time, their idea of Organicism in the Philosophy of Nature (Naturphilosophie), and politics, as well as the idea of automation and machine present in stories and essays. In such assump-tions, it can be found how the body is not thought of as a matter separate and ontologically isolated from thought, spirit, or soul. To understand this process, it seems appropriate to recover the representations that exist in German Romanticism of the natural, the human, and the machine.

(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2022-07-01) Acosta Sierra, Paola Helena; Corrales Caro, Diego Alejandro
This paper reviews the development of social protest in the present time from various expressions that share the hectic transition from the second to the third decade of this century. The so-called “World Autumn” is examined from the mobilizations in the American continent and is installations in the events that occur in Colombia during the period 2019-2021. In this period, the gaze focuses on the productions, resignifications, and creations of memories, objectual and situated, that trace marks and leave signs in the collective scenario. These productions are studied as the symbolic and material scenario of the dispute over memory during the event of the revolt. There, the concept of places of memory unfolds in the field of affections, desires, and violated and instructed bodies that, through excessive force and the collective terror of the repression of protest, sought to destroy and mutilate to accentuate the memorial training and close the imminent tear of the hegemonic order.

This is a series of preliminary reflections on the multiple relationships that build and transform the meanings of an every-day object. From an anthropological perspective, I analyze the effects and responses triggered by the installation of a metal barrier around the National Palace, the so-called “peace wall”, a “security” measure at the outset of the feminist protests scheduled for March 8, 2021. In this inquiry, I focus on the discourses and disputed actions that dislocate and relocate these metal fences. I propose to understand the aesthetic and discursive interventions on the wall as feminist popular artistic practices, i.e., actions that transform the object into a memorial and rename it the “wall of shame”. These actions challenge the official historical narrative in which the feminist movement is identified as a “threat” and restate the social problems that call for protests. I argue that the wall can be understood as an artistic oeuvre that both honors murdered women and demands justice for them. The interventions on the wall allow me to reflect on the artist/work/spectator triad, an amalgam difficult to dissociate. An object converted into a work can be understood as a provocation that invites us to continue thinking about how the power is manifested and how we question it.

(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2022-07-01) Pozo Cisternas, Eduardo
In this article we will begin by reading one of Henry Lefebvre’s classic texts “The Right to the City”, rescuing the key distinction between the city as practical-sensitive architecture and the urban as the experience of everyday living. With this base, we propose that urbanization and industrial development produce a precariousness in daily living in the city, lacking a collective symbolization. Then we will project an updated analysis in the neoliberal context based on David Harvey and his differentiation between public assets and common assets mediated by his idea of appropriation and the role of social movements. The fundamental function to denounce the commodification of urban land but also to resist the production of subjectivity that the neoliberal city needs to sustain itself. Finally, and from what is decided, we will approach a possible aesthetics of revolt/resistance in the neoliberal city from a transdisciplinary perspective. Throughout the text, we will be proposing some reading keys of what happened specifically in the revolt of October 18, 2019, in Santiago de Chile.

This research paper establishes a discussion between the concepts of reality and fiction as fundamental topics in the research-creation processes present in artistic products that use memory for their formulation. It focuses on the analysis of concepts from the field of history, such as truth or reality and fiction as invention, and seeks to understand how they act in the aesthetic and political fields in artistic processes. The paper dialogues with the thought of the philosopher and art historian Georges Didi-Huberman through the concept of montage and the possibilities that arise in the historical construction in which collective or personal fragments take place. The result leads us to the appropriation of methodological elements for the symbolic construction of the past, which in the Colombian context is considered important for its own tragic narrative, which is faced from the metaphorical capacity of art.

(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2021-07-01) Ortega Valencia, Piedad; Villa Rojas, Yennifer Paola
We place this reflection in the twinning of critical pedagogy with the feminist becoming in which we welcome the urgency for the dialogue with Bell Hooks (1994) to summon us to a reading of the world and a reading of the word from some pedagogical narratives constructed from a sensitive knowledge of affection, care, eroticity and meetings. This text has a writing of three sections, in the first we reference the critical pedagogy from the theoretical recreation that we do of Paulo Freire; for the second we narrate the pedagogical practice located in the elective subject “Queer Pedagogies: Gender, Sexuality and Education” during semesters 2020-ii and 2021-i; already in the third, we co-construct territorialized corpographies in fron-tier feminist bets around the linking world that Freire offers us and the transgressive presence of Bell Hooks where eroticism is a political-pedagogical space from which it is possible to resist. Finally, we present some conclusions as reflections that make it possible to continue weaving dialogues between critical pedagogy and feminist pedagogy.

(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2023-01-01) Pacheco Pomarino, Mariluz Aide
The aim of this systematic review article was to study the current state of research on technological mediation in artistic education and theater pedagogy in the context of covid-19. The method used was the documentary research whose collection of information was obtained from scientific articles extracted from the Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO, Scielo, Science Direct, Redalyc, Springer, ERIC and Google Scholar databases, during the years 2019 to 2022, starting from the descriptors of Technological mediation; Artistic education; Theater pedagogy and covid-19. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were established that allowed the document filtering process, obtaining a total of 28 articles published in indexed journals. The articles were incorporated into an Excel database in order to manage the content analysis and prevailing trends. Therefore, two thematic categories are presented: Technological mediation in artistic education in the context of the pandemic and Technological mediation in theatrical pedagogy in the context of the pandemic. The results show the tendency in research to resignify the practice of artistic and theatrical pedagogy in virtuality in order to transcend from convivio to tecnovivio, emphasizing in the collaborative work, proposing hybrid technologies and considering technology as a tool, not as a educational purpose.
