dc.description.abstractTesis que se propuso analizar la influencia de implementar videos en el desarrollo de la alfabetización visual y la mejora de la motivación intrínseca en estudiantes de inglés como lengua extranjera en el colegio San Viator. Por medio de la implementación de instrumentos observacionales y no observacionales, se recolectó información para desarrollar un análisis de los datos después de las intervenciones pedagógicas. Se encontró que los estudiantes tuvieron un progreso en sus habilidades en la alfabetización visual y en la mejora de la motivación intrínseca en el aula de clase, lo que los llevó a ser agentes activos en el desarrollo de la clase, participando y mejorando su comportamiento que permitió alcanzar las tres etapas en la lectura de los videos, como lo son, la identificación de información clave, la contextualización de dicha información y la validación de esa información por medio del discurso con los compañeros. Además, los dos componentes, alfabetización visual y motivación intrínseca, tuvieron cada uno un impacto en el desarrollo del otro.spa
