dc.description.abstractLa investigación está orientada a describir y analizar el impacto de utilizar materiales didácticos junto a un enfoque cooperativo, para facilitar el aprendizaje de vocabulario en un curso de inglés básico 1 en el Centro de Lenguas de la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. La intervención pedagógica considera las edades, necesidades e intereses de los estudiantes para implementar una metodología que promueva el aprendizaje de vocabulario en inglés a través de materiales y actividades que resulten significativas y motivantes. Por lo tanto, se implementa una estrategia que se soporta en la utilización de materiales didácticos y que promueve el trabajo en grupo para construir conocimiento a través de la interacción social entre pares. En conjunto, el uso de los materiales didácticos, la comunicación y la cooperación instauran un entorno adecuado para aprender vocabulario y mejorar en el idioma.spa
