Resumen
Although the anthropology of education, as a field of study, has a recent origin compared to human history and the history of education; it is necessary to understand, first of all, that education was constituted as “a central concern in the ancient world” (Angarita, 2016, p. 163), taking it, according to Noguera-Ramírez (2019), to be the most ambitious and meaningful project of humanity for that moment. Secondly, derived from this concern, the first contributions that emerged on the education of man have elements that deserve greater understanding around the possibilities that the human being has to educate himself to be more3 in the light of the anthropology of education. Therefore, this review article will deal with developing the first anthropo-logical visions of the educable being, under the lens of the anthropological theory of education of José María Barrio Maestre, with precision in the two key contemporary education principles: educability and educandability

Si bien la antropología de la educación, como campo de estudio, tiene un origen reciente a comparación de la historia humana y de la historia de la educación, es preciso entender, en primer lugar, que la educación se constituyó como “una preocupación central en el mundo antiguo” (Angarita, 2016, p. 163), que la llevó, de acuerdo con Noguera-Ramírez (2019), a ser el proyecto más ambicioso y significativo de la humanidad para ese momento1. En segundo lugar y derivado de esta preocupación, las primeras contribuciones que surgieron sobre la educación del hombre tienen elementos que merecen mayor comprensión en torno a las posibilidades que tiene el ser humano de educarse para ser más 2 a la luz de la antropología de la educación. Por lo anterior, este artículo de revisión se ocupará de desarrollar las primeras visiones antropológicas del ser educable bajo el lente de la teoría antropológica de la educación de José María Barrio Maestre, con particular precisión en los dos principios de educación contemporáneos claves: la educabilidad y la educandidad.
