dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo de grado consiste en una traducción de cuatro epístolas de mujeres pitagóricas que son: Melissa a Cleareta, Theano a Nicóstrata, Myía a Phyllis y Theano a Euboule, traducidas desde el griego antiguo al castellano y presentadas en versión bilingüe. Estas cartas, que datan del siglo VI a.C., han sido ordenadas, este trabajo por medio de un hilo temático novedoso que permite apreciarlas como pequeños tratados sobre la educación. Esta presentación permite ver el comportamiento que se les prescribe a las mujeres en un orden progresivo a partir del momento en que se convierten en esposas hasta su consolidación como madres y administradoras del hogar. Se ofrece, además, una semblanza de las autoras de las cartas; y un comentario que extrae algunos conceptos filosóficos involucrados en los planteamientos de los textos. Por último, se presentan algunas conclusiones finales.	spa
dc.description.abstractenglish	This dissertation is a translation of four epistles written by Pythagorean women: Melissa to Cleareta, Theano to Nicostrate, Myia to Phyllis, and Theano to Euboule. They were translated from Ancient Greek into Spanish, and are here presented as a bilingual edition. These letters, dating from the 6th century BC, are here arranged through an original unifying thread that allows the reader to understand them as small treatises on education. This work puts the behavior prescribed for women on display as it shows their duties progressively from the moment they become wives until their consolidation as mothers and administrators of the household. Additionally, this work contains a short biographical note of each of the authors, and a commentary on some of the philosophical concepts involved in the aforementioned letters. Lastly, some conclusions of the described work are put forward.	eng
