| dc.description.abstract | En este artículo presento una reflexión en torno a la propuesta teórica de Norbert Elia, conocida como la sociología histórica, y los retos que se derivan de la misma para el conocimiento histórico. Los elementos centrales de la reflexión giran en torno a la manera como el autor aborda las relaciones entre individuo y sociedad, a las configuraciones que construye a través del tiempo y a las transformaciones psicogenéticas y sociogenéticas como bases para el análisis social. En este análisis se rescata la complementariedad entre sociología e historia, haciendo énfasis en dos elementos centrales: la categoría de configuración y la relación entre tiempo y civilización. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | In this paper I reflect on the theoretical proposal of Norbert Elia, known as historical sociology, and the challenges for historical knowledge that result from it. The central elements of reflection have to do with the way the author approaches the relationshipsbetween individuals and society, the configurations built over time, and the psychogenetic and sociogenetic transformations as bases for social analysis. This analysis revives the complementarity between sociology and history, emphasizing two central elements:the category of configuration and the relationship between time and civilization. | eng |
