| spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This study aims to enhance the development of oral English expression among first-grade students at IED La Merced School through the implementation of multimodal resources combined with task-based situated learning. Using a qualitative action research approach, a series of instructional units were implemented, structured around images, videos, songs, gestures, and real objects that were directly related to the students’ specific context. The results revealed that these strategies strengthened affective aspects such as motivation, active classroom participation, and the confidence to speak and take risks to do so proactively. Furthermore, the study highlights the pedagogical value of integrating multimodality and task-based situated learning into early English instruction, thereby fostering other more dynamic and contextualized educational practices. | eng |
