| dc.description.abstract | En este estudio se investiga la relación entre el logro académico en Matemática y el envolvimiento familiar (EF) en las actividades educativas. Se consideran dos bases de datos (32.289 alumnos en 1319 escuelas; 20.898 alumnos en 902 secciones) correspondientes al 7º año de la EGB Argentina. Para su tratamiento, se utiliza la técnica de "análisis estadístico de niveles múltiples" con dos niveles (alumno y escuela ó aula). Se construyen dos mediciones de EF: las percepciones del alumno sobre su familia y las percepciones del docente sobre los padres de su grupo de alumnos. El comportamiento del EF y su efectos sobre el rendimiento es debatido a la luz de la teoría de la 'reproducción' en educación. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This paper shows the relationship between academia achievement in mathematics and family participation (FP) in the educational activities. Two databases are considered (32.289 students in 1319 schools; 20898 students in 902 sections) corresponding to the 7 grade of the EGB in Argentina. The technique used is “statistical analysis of multiple levels” with two levels (student and school or classroom). Two measurements of FP are built: the student’s perceptions about their family and the perceptions of the teachers on the parents of their group of students. The behavior of FP and its effect on performance is analyzed of the light of the theory of ‘reproduction’ in education. | eng |
