dc.description.abstractLos procesos de identificación y selección deportiva del baloncesto en etapas formativas, habitualmente se caracterizan por la utilización de criterios subjetivos e implementación de pruebas no estandarizadas, lo que limita la objetividad y solidez en la toma de decisiones. El objetivo de esta investigación fue desarrollar un sistema tecnológico de evaluación basado en indicadores de rendimiento para la identificación y selección de talentos en las categorías formativas de baloncesto. El proceso metodológico de esta investigación de desarrollo tecnológico (I+D) fue distribuido en ocho fases se desarrolló, la identificación de indicadores de rendimiento con respaldo científico, la selección de 24 variables distribuidas en cinco componentes del rendimiento (antropométrico, físico, técnico, táctico y psicológico) y su respectiva ponderación, el diseño del algoritmo y su construcción, las variables propuestas se implementaron en 154 deportistas entre los 12 a 17 años afiliados a la Liga de Baloncesto de Cundinamarca con el fin de verificar la consistencia del sistema. Como resultado, se consolidó una herramienta multicriterio desarrollada en Microsoft Excel que automatiza y procesa los datos a través de interpolación lineal, este sistema permite apoyar la toma de decisiones para la identificación y selección deportiva según la puntuación global de cada basquetbolista. El pilotaje confirmó la operatividad del algoritmo y la viabilidad de aplicación en contextos reales de evaluación deportiva en baloncesto. En conclusión, el sistema desarrollado proporciona información relevante, objetiva y estandarizada que apoya las decisiones del entrenador, mermando la subjetividad propia de los procesos de selección deportiva en el baloncesto en etapas formativas.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThe processes of identifying and selecting basketball players in youth development programs are typically characterized by the use of subjective criteria and the implementation of non-standardized tests, which limit the objectivity and reliability of decision-making. The objective of this research was to develop a technology-based evaluation system using performance indicators for the identification and selection of talent in youth basketball programs. The methodological process of this technological development (R&D) research was divided into eight phases: the identification of scientifically supported performance indicators; the selection of 24 variables distributed across five performance components (anthropometric, physical, technical, tactical, and psychological) and their respective weightings; the design and construction of the algorithm; and the implementation of the proposed variables among 154 athletes aged 12 to 17 affiliated with the Cundinamarca Basketball League to verify the system’s consistency. As a result, a multi-criteria tool developed in Microsoft Excel was finalized; it automates and processes data through linear interpolation. This system supports decision-making for player identification and selection based on each basketball player’s overall score. The pilot study confirmed the algorithm’s functionality and the feasibility of its application in real-world basketball player evaluation contexts.
