| dc.description.abstract | Este artículo aprovecha algunos elementos semióticos para hacer una lectura crítica del cuento de García Márquez “Un día de estos”. Por un lado, revela la economía del lenguaje que lo convierte en una síntesis poética de la obra del nóbel colombiano, desde los puntos de vista social y cultural; por otro lado, analiza el conflicto ideológico entre el pueblo y el estado y la manera como el pueblo, representando en el dentista, resulta ganador. Esta actitud se aprecia en la posición que el narrador asume frente al dentista de quien se cuenta todo, mientras que acerca del alcalde queda librada a la interpretación del lector. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This paper takes advantage of some semiotic elements to make a critical reading of the story of García Márquez “Un día de estos”. On one hand, he reveals the economy of language that the author uses in the story; from the social and cultural points of view, it is a poetic synthesis of the work of the Colombian nobel. On the other hand, it analyzes the ideological conflict between the town’s people and the State and the way they, represented by the dentist, are the winners. This attitude expresses the narrator’s position with respect to the dentist; the narrator tells us all he knows about the dentist, whereas the lieutenant’s life is left the expense of the reader’s interpretation. | eng |
