dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an action research project that analyses the impact of podcasts with intrapersonal and interpersonal content on the speaking skills of 10th-grade students. The Instituto Pedagógico Nacional is a public school in Bogotá, Colombia, and it hosted the research. The project collected data through field notes, surveys, diagnostic tests, interviews, artifacts, and recordings made by the preservice teacher. The researcher implemented the instructional design in three cycles of interventions. The researcher then used the triangulation method to determine the project's conclusions, implications, and limitations, considering various perspectives, data collection methods, and data theories. In summary, podcasts are a tool that contributes to developing students' speaking skills. They began to converse more in English, despite their occasional linguistic errors.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishEste documento presenta un proyecto de investigación acción, que analizó el impacto del uso de podcasts con contenido intrapersonal e interpersonal en las habilidades orales de los estudiantes de décimo grado. El Instituto Pedagógico Nacional, fue el colegio en el que la investigación se realizó, este es una institución pública en Bogotá, Colombia. En el proyecto los datos se recolectaron por medio de notas de campo, encuestas, test diagnósticos, entrevistas, artefactos y grabaciones realizadas por la maestra en formación. El diseño instruccional se llevó a cabo en tres ciclos de intervención. Después, la investigadora a través del método de triangulación consideró diferentes perspectivas, métodos de recolección de datos y teorías para poder determinar las conclusiones, implicaciones y limitaciones del proyecto. En conclusión, los podcasts son una herramienta que contribuyen con el desarrollo de algunas habilidades orales de los estudiantes, ya que los estudiantes comenzaron a hablar en inglés, a pesar de los errores que cometían de la lengua.spa
