Tiene en cuenta de igual modo, el contexto historiográfico occidental, pone en discusión y dialoga con los estudios recientes, del mismo modo como advierte sobre sus limitaciones, y el porqué de los vacíos historiográficos señalados. | spa |

The author focuses on Argentina, Mexico and Colombia in order to account for the lines of work, categories of analysis and the recent contributions on the issue. In the same way, it takes into account the Western historiographical context, poses questions and dialogues based on recent studies as well as highlights the limitations and explains the reason for the identified historiographical gaps. | eng |
