| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo nos aproxima al concepto de estereotipo, a partir del cual, analizamos la imagen social de las personas de edad y exponemos una clasificación de creencias y concepciones más extendidas, la mayoría de ellas negativas, sobre la cúspide de la pirámide poblacional. Para paliar esta situación de discriminación a la que arrastran estas expresiones estereotipadas e infundadas sobre la vejez, planteamos la Educación Social como una de las herramientas básicas desde la que se puede hacerle frente. Nuestro propósito es enfatizar la importancia de conocer las concepciones sociales sobre la vejez como una plataforma desde la cual podamos actuar con las personas mayores. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This work approaches us to the stereotype concept, starting from the one which, we analyze the social image of age people and we expose a classification of beliefs and more extended conceptions, negative most of them, on the peak of the populational pyramid. To palliate this discrimination situation to which drag these stereotyped and groundless expressions about this age, we outline the Social Education as one of the basic tools from the one that one can make him front. Our purpose is to emphasize the importance of knowing the social conceptions on the age like a platform from which we can act with the grown-ups. | eng |
