This thesis explores how artificial intelligence, specifically the ELSA Speak app, can enhance English pronunciation among seventh-grade students at Instituto Pedagógico Nacional in Bogotá. A mixed-methods action research design was used, combining qualitative and quantitative tools. The pedagogical intervention was divided into three cycles focusing on phonetic sounds, word stress, and free speech. Results showed clear improvement in pronunciation accuracy, fluency, and student confidence. Many participants began to self-correct and engage more actively. The app provided a safe space that reduced anxiety and encouraged personalized learning. It was concluded that AI, when properly guided by educators, can boost not only linguistic skills but also motivation and autonomy. This project demonstrates how technology can effectively transform English language teaching in real classroom settings.eng
