dc.description.abstractEsta revisión bibliográfica da cuenta de la producción documental sobre las competencias que requieren los bibliotecólogos de bibliotecas académicas para la comunicación científica. Para ello se empleó un análisis de tipo hermenéutico interpretativo de los documentos recuperados cuyos resultados indican el creciente interés por estudiar los nuevos roles que debe asumir un bibliotecólogo académico en el cambiante ecosistema de la comunicación científica y las competencias que debe adquirir para asumir los retos y responsabilidades que dichos roles traen. Se concluye que hay avances en estandarizar competencias y la necesidad de definir nuevas estrategias, modelos y planes formativos para las escuelas de bibliotecología; así como la búsqueda de un sistema de comunicación científica de cara a un futuro lleno de retos y contradicciones para la investigación.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis bibliographic review reports the documentary production on the competencies required by librarians in academic libraries for scholarly communication. For this purpose, an interpretive hermeneutic type analysis of the recovered documents was used, the results of which indicate the growing interest in studying the new roles that an academic librarian must assume in the changing ecosystem of scientific communication and the skills that must be acquired to assume the challenges and responsibilities that such roles bring. It is concluded that there is progress in standardizing competencies and the need to define new strategies, models and training plans for library information science schools; as well as the search for a schorlarly communication system in the face of a future full of challenges and contradictions for research.spa
