dc.description.abstractEste documento presenta el proceso de investigación (creación, aplicación y resultados) de la propuesta pedagógica cuyo objetivo era identificar el impacto del uso de libros ilustrados contextualizados para construir la conciencia comunitaria en un primer acercamiento al inglés como lengua extranjera. El estudio se llevó a cabo con alumnas de segundo grado del Liceo Femenino Lorencita Villegas de Santos en Bogotá. Se consideró que el uso de libros ilustrados podría mejorar las habilidades lingüísticas en la lengua extranjera, aprovechando las problemáticas sociales y las necesidades de las alumnas como oportunidad para abordar el inglés como lengua extranjera. Este proyecto de investigación utilizó una metodología cualitativa, que incluyó notas de campo, entrevistas y encuestas para la recopilación de datos.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishThis document presents the research process (creation, application, and results) of the pedagogical proposal aimed at identifying the impact of using contextualized picture books to construct community awareness in a first approach to English as a foreign language. The study was conducted with second-grade students at Liceo Femenino Lorencita Villegas de Santos in Bogotá. As it was considered that using picture books could enhance foreign language skills, using social problems and students’ needs as opportunities to approach English as a foreign language.
