This project addresses the need to improve English vocabulary learning in students through the use of video game narratives. Developed with a qualitative approach through an action research framework using Task-Based Learning (TBL), it aims for students to improve their vocabulary skills in learning English as a foreign language by using video games as a tool that has the potential to catch their attention, expose students to different themes and contexts that build the reality of the physical or virtual world, and infuse dynamism into traditional methodology, bringing new value to the classroom and a new resource for teachers who seek to use this interactive multimedia source that surrounds students' daily lives.eng
