dc.description.abstractLa presente monografía en calidad de trabajo de grado presenta los alcances e impactos logrados en la implementación de materiales creados y adaptados por el docente para desarrollar el vocabulario básico de la lengua inglesa en estudiantes de segundo grado (203 - jornada tarde), del colegio Liceo Femenino Mercedes Nariño, cuyo estudio fue realizado a partir de la investigación acción de carácter cualitativo. Los resultados de la investigación se obtuvieron en diferentes periodos comprendidos entre la fase de observación en el aula hasta las prácticas asistidas y autónomas. Este proyecto buscó dar un primer acercamiento de la lengua inglesa a estudiantes entre 6 y 8 años a través de materiales alternativos creados y adaptados por el docente de inglés a partir de las propias necesidades de esta población, para así, tener materiales pedagógicos contextualizados en situaciones familiares para los estudiantes. Durante la implementación de los distintos materiales se planeó desarrollar el vocabulario básico en inglés abarcando, en una medida inicial, las cuatro competencias lingüísticas para que de este modo los estudiantes reconocieran un glosario elemental de esta lengua desde sus habilidades comunicativas.spa
