| dc.description.abstract | La fuerza del discurso social y mediático sobre la infancia, que funciona como fetiche, tiende a imponer la infancia como objeto de estudio de los investigadores. Para ellos la infancia no es un hecho que la ‘experien-cia’ permitiría ‘comprobar’, es una manera de poner en palabras cierta forma de recortar, de interpretar y de categorizar el mundo social. En este sentido, el artículo discute la construcción de este objeto de investigación y presenta elementos que permiten la comprensión de la infancia como categoría conceptual, al tiempo que propone una perspectiva analítica que posibilita su investigación. For them it is not a fact that ‘experience’ could permit ‘to check’, it is a manner of putting in words some way(s) of cutting, interpreting, categorizing the social world.
