| dc.description.abstract | Este artículo contiene una síntesis del debate acerca de la investigación en ciencias sociales, desde los paradigmas cuantitativo y cualitativo y plantea la posibilidad de investigar con modelos integracionistas. Se revisan los motivos por los cuales se han estudiado las ciencias sociales desde la perspectiva del paradigma de las ciencias naturales y las razones para superar esta dicotomía imperante en la modernidad. The reasons because social studies have been tackled under the perspective of natural science are checked, as the reasons to overcome this reigned dichotomy in the modernity.
