Ítem Hacia la redención de la naturaleza: un análisis mitologista de la construcción de la naturaleza para la crítica de Robert Smithson y Herman De Vries.(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2017-08-17) Merchán Basabe, Javier GuillermoThe research work, the results of which are presented in this article, developed a proposal for a mythological analysis of thought: the intervention on nature, which supports a critique of the artistic interventions of natural spaces of Robert Smithson and Herman De Vries. The analysis made metaphorically recreated instances of the construction of the idea of nature in industrialized societies and the emergence of an ideal of redemption of the same. This makes possible an unconventional criticism of the work of Robert Smithson and Herman De Vries that allows to understand their interventions and artistic attacks in the natural environment, as ritual actions proper to a cult of restitution to the affected nature.
