Nanoeducation is presented as a scaffolding that changes our way of conceiving the relationships between the natural, the artificial and the human being, so it is a promising alternative that transforms the way of teaching and improving the teaching-learning processes in primary and secondary basic education. The content shared here merges the more formal disciplinary and pedagogical aspects, being this its greatest attribute for teacher preparation. In this sense, Nanoeducation. A way to incorporate nanoscience and nanotechnology in basic education subjects in Colombia seeks the inclusion of cutting-edge topics related to science and technology, which are no longer only a specific responsibility of teachers of basic and natural sciences, but should be an essential mission for all subjects included in the curriculum of basic education in the country, facing the contemporary challenges we face.
