All of us attribute meanings or connotations to the places we inhabit or attend, but these appreciations are diversified according to our life trajectory, social and existential condition in the world, hence the reason why the phenomenon of migration is approached not from the perspective of the receiving society, but from the representation of those who come to perceive and build space(s), until landing in the struggle for urban space and spatial justice. Throughout the work, the mental (representation) and material (discrimination and conflict) planes that give rise to the political demand for the right to the city in Latin America are interwoven.
