Ítem Discurso ético y ambiental sobre cuestiones sociocientíficas : aportes para la formación del profesorado.(Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, 2013) Martínez Pérez, Leonardo Fabio; Parga Lozano, Diana LinethThis research book presents a theoretical framework and a particular analysis on the following questions: What discourses mobilize in-service and pre-service science teachers when designing didactic units focused on socio-scientific issues? How do those discourses contribute to the training of science teachers? To answer these questions, the ethical and environmental discourses mobilized by science teachers in continuous initial training are characterized.Ítem Aportes para la formación científico ambiental. Análisis desde la ambientalización curricular(2024-12-30) Parga Lozano, Diana LinethThis book constitutes a valuable contribution to the reflection on the integration of the environment in the training of science teachers, particularly in the area of chemistry. Based on a doctoral thesis developed at the Paulista State University (Unesp), Brazil, the text addresses the foundations and principles that underlie the curricular proposals oriented towards scientific training with an environmental focus. The work analyzes how the curricular contents are environmentalized in chemistry teacher training programs in Colombia, taking as its axis national policy documents, academic plans of three selected universities and the trends identified in the country's higher education. Furthermore, it contrasts these practices with a desirable conceptual framework, providing a critical diagnosis and guidelines for the design of more comprehensive and sustainable programs. This should take into account sustainable development, the SDG-2030, global, scientific and environmental citizenship, from approaches such as socio-scientific and environmental issues and the inclusion of ICT and AI in education, among others, which would have the challenge of ensuring a relevant and inclusive education and the promotion of learning opportunities for all in a context of informed and democratic participation. In the emphasis on Science Education of the Interinstitutional Doctorate in Education, at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, this educational challenge motivated to propose and develop the “XVII Doctoral Chair in Education and Pedagogy”, which aimed to think about the challenges and opportunities of various training proposals that take into account the problems described. This book is the result of different reflections on the question: is science and mathematics education being thought of in the face of these challenges, which are emergencies that threaten our planet and generate educational challenges at the pedagogical and didactic levels?
