SA-VI-A: saberes y Visión Ancestral. Del revés al encuentro, por una educación pertinente.
(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional) Escorcia Romero, Tadiana Guadalupe; Ropero Palacios, Flor Elisa
This article relates the experience born from research and later from an institutional project developed since 2015 in the José Asunción Silva District Educational Institution, where rural, Afro-descendant, indigenous, mestizo and Venezuelan families cohabit, who have been displaced from their territories and have faced uprooting before a majority culture that ignores them in the new place. Thus, it was from research with a horizontal methodology where the co-researcher community of the process recovered the ancestral knowledge that was put in dialogue with those of the initial education, to reconstitute the social fabric, strengthen the cultural identity and transform the curriculum to collect the voice of its protagonists, making the school a territory of peace, with an education relevant to their needs and knowledge.
