    Es propicio en esta novena edición de la revista Voces de la Escuela Maternal exponer los procesos de investigación que se han desarrollado en el espacio de la Escuela, algunos de ellos realizados por sus docentes con los niños, otros desarrollados con un equipo de docentes que piensan en los adultos que rodean a los niños. Esto contribuye a ampliar el campo de saber de la(s) infancia(s) y a proponer cambios e innovaciones que llevan a profundizar en temas para el bienestar de los niños y que sirven de piedras angulares y derroteros para otros profesionales que tienen relación con ellos.

    Lecturas de maestras El ingreso de los niños de 3 y 4 años a los colegios públicos de Bogotá

    During the period 2012-2015, the Administration of Bogotá, within the framework of Law 115 of 1994, encouraged children aged 3 and 4 years to return to the pre-school and kindergarten level in district educational institutions, after several years of being in kindergartens of the District Secretariat of Social Integration and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare. The two studies presented in this book were carried out with practicing teachers with an important professional trajectory in this cycle of childhood education and with teaching directors from four official educational institutions, which sought to identify beliefs regarding the meaning of early education, in order to recognize strengths and obstacles in the approach of developmental enhancement, as well as analysis from the socio-political, institutional, didactic and personal dimensions of what this entry has represented in the official educational scenario. Today, when the statutory bill that seeks to recognize education as a fundamental right is moving forward, this book offers a valuable panorama to contribute to this construction, as well as to the formative processes of teachers in early childhood education.

    The purpose of this book is to reveal the practices in initial education that teachers in formation and in practicing, and also to recognize and understand those knowledges and experiences that are builded and rebuilded in the daily life by children. To do so, in this document, their authors wonders about what does it meant the education in early childhood and the principal actions of 0 to 5 year-old children, when analyzing what happens with the game, the body and the infants movements, and also with the rituals in initial education, with the design of environments to potenciate the diferent experiences and the forms with which the teachers accompany the proposals developped in children.
