    The purpose of this reflection paper is to address autonomous sports and recreational practices, neither controlled nor studied, as spontaneous expressions of leisure from peasant communities in the department of Caquetá, Colombia. As a result of the current health emergency caused by covid-19, the contrast between urban and rural areas appears on the scene, with particular attention to the latter, which has been little studied in Colombia. The analysis proposed in the text intends to be a provocation on the realities that emerge from the bias of the academic field in the study of leisure in rural communities, the leisure practices in the peasant population, the public policies of distant and irregular leisure, the differential analysis of confinement, and the visualization of the natural or spontaneous actors of leisure and recreation in Colombia.
