    This book reports the results of an investigation addressing the subject of teaching style in its communicative dimension. The author points to the exploration of the pedagogical implications of the similarities and differences in cognitive style between teachers and students. The main purpose of this work is to identify teaching styles for science teachers according to the modalities of communicative behavior observed in classroom situations and to establish their relationships with the cognitive style in the dimension of field independence-dependence.
