Estudio de caso club deportivo La Paz Fútbol Club.(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional) Galindo Rojas, Edgar Felipe; Bolívar Alfonso, Héctor Fabián; Villanueva-Bustos, AlejandroThis article describes the importance of sports as a tool of social transformation and reconciliation, being the starting point the programs of Sports for Development and Peace (DDP in Spanish), which have successfully contributed to the post-conflict stage. First of all, key concepts will be defined to give greater clarity to the subject of research. Secondly, the La Paz fC Sports Club, which has been developing a series of sports projects based on the methodology of lectureship/Chair for peace through football, will be taken as a case study. Finally it is concluded, in third and last step, the extent to which sports contribute to peace building and the need to accompany sports spaces with social work oriented to reconciliation in post-conflict times
