This qualitative study is the systematization of the experience of four research projects through the historical reconstruction of research and educational praxis: an interdisciplinary action research project, as a framework in which three doctoral projects were nested. The framework project was headed to understanding Thematic Research proposed by Freire, generating a process of education and transformation for students and educators; the first doctoral project was aimed at unders-tanding child-rearing; the second doctoral project was focused in the participatory problematization of the child-rearing carried out, and the third doctoral project made it possible to design the pedagogical proposal.
