The Chair promoted the debate on the need to narrate the nation's historical processes in formal, non-formal and informal educational settings, and became a scenario to identify the challenges of history teaching today. Several of the reflections presented in that edition of the Cátedra are included in this book, produced by the joint initiative of the Museo Nacional de Colombia and the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional.
