    This book discusses the question of the circumstances in which raising dynamics are developed in the family contexts of people with disabilities. In a joint work between Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and Fundación Universitaria Monserrate, the authors of this book prioritize an interpretative study with an ethnographic approach to address the main typologies, intra-family relations, functions and upbringing methods by families of people with disabilities, using specific scenarios registered in Antioquia, Bolívar, Cundinamarca and Santander. This book is an essential contribution and documentary history to generate new research exercises about the theoretical conception of the social and educational function of families in Colombia.
