La tesis “Discusiones sobre las ciencias y su interacción en la praxis educativa” analiza cómo los presupuestos epistemológicos y sociológicos influyen en la enseñanza de las ciencias naturales desde los aportes de Bachelard y Bourdieu, articula la filosofía de la ciencia y la sociología del conocimiento para comprender la praxis del maestro. Su arquitectura metodológica está orientada desde la teoría fundamentada; se estudiaron artefactos huella (material creado por el maestro) y entrevistas con los maestros, identificando la presencia o ausencia de factores epistemológicos. Los hallazgos mayores y emergentes se agrupan en cuatro categorías: el lugar de la realidad, la voz del maestro, las subjetividades y los elementos emergentes, las cuales muestran que el contexto, la trayectoria y las convicciones del maestro configuran prácticas situadas y críticas. Así pues, la enseñanza se concibe como un acto político y reflexivo que resignifica error, duda e ideas previas, en donde la vigilancia epistemológica y la reflexividad emerge como clave para transformar la educación científica hacia una propuesta crítica, emancipadora y coherente con los desafíos del pensamiento científico actual.

According to its different meanings, the term practice is directly related to a continuous human action, being a reiterative task that is established in a social and contextualized way, built from everyday knowledge. In the educational context, to the extent that actions are inserted in a reflective process that can be carried out individually or collectively, pedagogical practices are consecrated as powerful processes in which the teacher gathers his experiences and knowledge and directs them with the pedagogical and didactic resources available to him. On the other hand, educational practices, since they are actions that are located in a specific time and space and are built from theoretical constructs, are not neutral or apolitical, hence the responsibility and commitment of the teacher as an active agent of social transformation. This book, a publication made by the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN) and the Ministry of National Education (MEN), was a product derived from research conducted in 2021, which aims to understand the conception, organization, structure, characterization, modalities and contexts in which the pedagogical and educational practices of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education of the UPN, The big house of pedagogy, are developed.
