    This paper reports an interview carried out within the framework of a doctorate research that aimed to study the movements of criticism and renewal of sports tradition in the field of Colombian Physical Education. In this way, PhD. Hermann Gall was interviewed because he is one of the voices opposing the predominance of this tradition in the academic field of this discipline in the country, positioning as the director of the Colombian-German Agreement. In addition, to present part of this critical thinking, the interview confirms the strength of the scientific project promoted by the Agreement and, at the same time, the diversity of perspectives that were articulated to develop this purpose.
