Ítem Blanquitud y educación antirracista: experiencias y reflexiones desde la enseñanza de la biología y las ciencias sociales.(Editorial Universidad Pedagógica Nacional) Orozco Marín, Yonier Alexánder; Certuche Martínez, Jeisson AndrésThis paper, of a reflexive type, aims at weaving discussions and debates around the possibilities of an anti-racist education from the perspective of critical whiteness, a debate that has been nourished by the experiences of two teachers in a school in Bogota: one of biology, the other of social sciences. The issue of racism in the Colombian school is approached from a viewpoint that transcends discrimination against subaltern subjects, which extends to the understanding of racism as the granting of symbolic and material privileges to white subjects and without ethnic belonging. Subsequently, we approach the legislations that mobilize possibilities of anti-racist education in Colombia, developing the concept of whiteness and its influence in educational environments. Finally, as a result, two pedagogical and didactic proposals were implemented in a school in Bogota, showing the possibility address whiteness in an anti-racist perspective, both disciplines of the so-called social or human sciences and in the so-called exact or natural sciences, such as biology, for example. The text is an invitation to build an anti-racist agenda in schools by problematizing whiteness as a power device that naturalizes, reproduces, and reinforces racism.
