    In this volume, we wish to offer a carefully selected collection of texts that provide insight into the political thinking of Father Camilo Torres Restrepo. Most of the texts used refer us to his immediate context, which was his committed and testimonial action. Indeed, the speeches, lectures, reports, letters, editorials of the United Front, messages and proclamations transcribed here constitute the theoretical version of an intense practice that sought effective change in social structures, motivated by a humanising passion for history.
