    This text is the product of the discussions about the relationship between philosophy, pedagogy and didactics held in different scenarios by research groups Formación y Antropología Pedagógica e Histórica (FORMAPH), from Universidad de Antioquia, and Enseñanza de la Filosofía from Universidad Pedagógica Nacional. In May, 2013, different investigators were called to revive the tension between these fields following the path opened over fifty years ago in Colombia by Guillermo Hoyos Vásquez, in whose memory discussions on the relationship between philosophy and education were held, and to whom Germán Vargas Guillén, his close colleague and friend, dedicated the initial conference, which is also the starting point of this book.
