Every day the practice of sports in societies is more frequent, it has become a cultural phenomenon with superlative reception in the population, even in the peace processes carried out in the country it was constituted as a fundamental pillar of the formation of the population in the post-conflict. this positioning is not surprising, since community social sport promotes actions to mitigate problems and needs present in the communities, through the training of subjects and projects to improve the quality of life.Under this framework, it was proposed to discover the subjectivities that emerge from sports practice, through qualitative research of a hermeneutical nature, which allowed the compilation of life stories of community athletes (students of the Sports management Program of the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia) From their experiences, feelings, relationships and social positioning that they have discovered, approaching the subjective sense of the athlete with himself, with the other and from the role he plays in his community. In this way, it is possible to demonstrate the formative purposes of sport in their practices, as well as discussing from the academy the implementation of sport as a strategy of construction, training, and social understanding.
