The goal of this investigative and innovative project is to enable the students of the ninth  grade to generate an identity of a place anda city, starting from three fundamental components: conceptual, existential and  investigative. It approaches a city as a subjective space of a social and historical construction of great importance in the contemporary world, considering the fact that most of the world human population lives over there.Este artículo presenta las elaboraciones conceptuales y pedagógicas que se han construido desde el proyecto Bogotá: Ciudad Educadora implementado en el Instituto Pedagógica Nacional. Este es un proyecto de investigación e innovación que pretende que los estudiantes de grado noveno generen identidad de lugar con la ciudad, a partir de tres componentes fundamentales: conceptual, vivencial e investigativo.
