The participants in this study were third-grade students aged between seven and nine years from the public school Liceo Femenino de Cundinamarca Mercedes Nariño. To this end, throughout three intervention cycles, the students used five board games along with their corresponding pre- and post-activities to learn vocabulary and develop social skills.
